Andy Goldsworthy Inspired Grass Prints!

During the break I have been experimenting with making imprints in the grass using garden items and tools to make interesting and abstract style shapes in the grass. The weight, size and materials of the objects determine how they will make a print in the natural environment over the course of a few days. I don't normally experiment with natural materials so this task has been a very interesting experiment for me, it also is a good exercise to make do with the materials that we already have. This is almost a symbol for the current situation, needing to make do and get creative with limited resources.

Here is the end result after about 4 days of leaving the objects on the grass. Since my garden contains different types of grass, it definitely changed the result of the work and made the imprint very faint and less visible. But nevertheless, something I would love to experiment more with in the future!
