Here is my first progress photos for the first mono printing task! The theme centres around the mental place of child. To find inspiration for this task, I put myself in the mental place of being a child, as I gravitate to colours, experimentation, simple shapes and images that we typically gravitate towards as children. Shapes, colours and gradients used are inspired by children's books in second hand stores and in my childhood home, as well as inspiration from close friends and artists. It has been fun so far experimenting with a process I am not familiar with, and I look forward to further developing these images.
